Pops Of Pink + More Great Spring Sneakers

Street Style Sneaker Look

Featuring Adidas Nite Joggers Via Finish Line

For me – Spring style is all about great staple pieces put together for easy, effortless outfits while we wait

for the warmer temps and bold patterns. Think about adding pops of color where you can with a great

sweatshirt, and pair them back to a cool pant that’s just as effortless (a great black jacket is always a great

idea as well!). When it comes to spring footwear, Sneakers are my go-to when it comes to putting together

a look like this. After months of chunky boots and thick socks, the only thing I want to wear for Spring is a

great pair of tricked out trainers.

These babies from Finish Line are a very welcome addition to my collection – the Adidas Nite Jogger. Not

only are they available in multiple colors (for any look from sporty to street ready) but they are beyond

comfortable and stylish. The boost sole makes them perfect for running errands in the city or to wear to the

gym, and the pops of pink on the body are just the right amount of color for a cool Spring look.

Finish Line has the full offering of these bad boys on their website, click here to check them out. To shop

Cozy For The Holidays

How To Rock A Cozy Athleisure Look For The Holidays

As much as the holiday season is all about dressing up for events and parties, it’s also about staying cozy while looking cool, chic, & holiday ready. One of the best ways to upgrade any athleisure look for the holiday season is to play with festive texture and pattern. I’m loving these Abercrombie classic joggers paired back to a classic denim shirt and beyond amazing chunky cardigan also from Abercrombie! Not only is this look cozy as ever while inside the house, but will keep you looking cool, relaxed, & festive while running errands, Christmas shopping, etc. Pair with a cool sneaker or boot to take the look outdoors and swap for your favorite slippers when back in the house.

Varsity Inspired Fall Styling

Take A Cue From The Ivy Leaguers:

Polo University Collection by Polo Ralph Lauren

Nothing says Fall in New York like a classic varsity inspired look. When

putting a vintage inspired look together, don’t be afraid to mix colors

and patterns…the look should feel effortlessly cool! A varsity jacket is

the perfect piece to ground this type of look. I love the details across the

sleeves and chest on this one from Polo Ralph Lauren, perfect to pair

with a great patchwork sweatpant (this pair is also Polo Ralph Lauren…

and beyond comfortable!), and thrown on top of a preppy Oxford

shirt / crewneck combo. (keep in mind that you’ll want to go with more

neutral, chill colors for your sweatshirt and Oxford shirt to keep the look

chic and stylish). For accessories it’s all about a classic pair of cream

sneakers, a vintage watch & timeless sunglasses.

Cashmere Crewneck: The Ultimate Fall Staple

The One Piece You Can’t Live Without

With Summer temps fading away and crisp Fall days ahead, it’s time to stock up on the classic essentials that will take from Fall through Winter & beyond. This cashmere crewneck sweater from Uniqlo is a piece I can not live without. (If you follow me on Insta – you are all well aware of my crazy obsession with Uniqlo lol) Perfectly cozy for cool fall nights and chilly winter days, yet breathable and light for when the sun peaks, this bad boy will not let you down. One of my favorite ways to wear this wardrobe staple is paired back with other classics (think stretch selvedge jeans, a sharp striped shirt, and a chic pair of slippers). For something more sporty, try pairing this baby with a great pair of black joggers and a killer white sneaker. As much as us New Yorkers love a black moment (trust me you’ll want this in black too), it’s available in a rainbow of other colors, linked here for you guys.

2018 Fall Shopping Edit #1

September 2018 | Faul Haul #1

What To Buy Right Now

It’s (pretty much) Fall y’all! Even though we are just a few short weeks away from crisp days and chilly nights, the switch has been flipped and cooler weather is indeed here. I’ve scoured the web (and my closet) to bring you guys the first of a few ultimate shopping edits for Fall 2018. All of these pieces are easily mixed into your existing wardrobe and can be worn right now! Happy shopping, feel free to DM me with any questions or comments. x – Preston

Transitioning to Fall: Denim & Mustard Tone...

Nodding To Fall With Denim & Color

While the temps may be steamy here in New York, my mind is racing with thoughts of chunky sweaters & chelsea boots for Fall. Until then, it’s time to start nodding to Fall with great denim & autumn-trend tones even while it’s still warm out there. For denim, it’s all about a vintage, 90’s style wash like these skinnies from Abercrombie. Not only is the wash perfectly aged, but the fit is insane and contain just the right amount of stretch. For shirting, opt for classic oxford-cloth shirts in Fall-ready colors, one of the biggest trends of the season being mustard. This one from Abercrombie is perfectly washed with a killer fit. Throw a varsity-inspired sweater around your waist or shoulders for a little hint at layering (you can always throw in your bag when the temps rise throughout the day).

New Obsession: The Bonobos Italian Performance S...

The Navy Suit I’ve Been Waiting For

Navy Suit Mens Bonobos

Bonobos Suit Preston Konrad

Preston Konrad Suit Bonobos

I honestly think a well-dressed man can’t have enough classic navy suiting. One of the most versatile suiting options to have in your wardrobe, a chic, slim navy suit will give you the mileage you need in the office while providing you with endless opportunities to break it apart and wear with denim, joggers, etc on the weekend. I thought I had all of my bases covered when it came to navy suiting (hint, there may be more than 5 navy suits in my closet!) until this bad boy fell in to my lap last week. I was given the chance to test drive the new Italian Performance suiting from my friends at Bonobos and all I can say is, WOW. Not only is this bad boy packed with just the right amount of stretch, but the cut is perfectly slim, the fabric is breathable yet luxurious, the color is spot-on, and to top things off – it is under $800! For the same price as a run-of-the-mill mall brand, Bonobos is crushing the game by introducing this luxury suit to the market as such a value. I always say the devil is in the details and these guys hit the nail on the head with wrinkle resistant & water repellent fabric and a shirt-gripping waistband inside of the pants. This baby will have you being the envy of the boardroom and your wallets new best friend.

Floral Shirt Trend: Steals & Splurges

 Floral Shirts:

Summer’s Biggest Trend – Steal Vs Splurge

With Memorial Day having come and gone, Summer 18 is in full swing. In general, I hate spending too much money on anything Summery (too much sweat, too trendy, too sticky, you get the idea). Thankfully, some of the biggest trends of the Summer are available at killer prices from most of the high street brands.

One of the biggest trends for Summer is the floral short sleeved shirt. Meant to be worn loose, these bad boys are perfect for staying cool while looking on trend. Try pairing with your favorite chino shorts for a preppier vibe, or wide leg trousers or jeans for something a bit more trend-right. (To be super 2018, try tucking your shirt in with a killer belt).

To make Summer styling a bit more simple for you guys, I’ve rounded up some of the best floral shirts at steal prices and a few that are bit more splurge-worthy. Check out my picks after the jump! x -Preston

The Ugly Sneaker Trend

Wearing Ugly / Dad / 90’s / Chunky Sneakers Is A Thing

If you follow me on Instagram, it will be no surprise to you that I am not a fan of the ugly sneaker trend that is currently taking over social media and the fashion industry as a whole. Perhaps it’s because I’ve lived through this style moment during it’s incarnation in the 90’s (high school flashbacks anyone?) or maybe it’s because of the wild prices, but either way I can not justify playing with this whole ugly moment. As I’ve written to many of you, my whole theory on personal style is that it is just that, very personal. I hate seeing friends cave to trends and waste money in the process. Of course I support buying things that make you happy, but I’d much rather you guys invest in classics like a gorgeous chelsea boot, Gucci loafers (backless or classic), a killer Prada brogue, or handsome wingtips that you’ll have for a decade. That being said, I’ve been getting tons of messages on Instagram saying that you’d like to give this wacky-ass trend a shot and I figured if you are going to pull the trigger, I’d save your bank account a few bucks and save you a bit of embarrassment (cue looking back at your feed in 2020 wondering what the hell was I thinking?!) I’ve scoured the web and landed on 15 pairs of chunky sneakers that are under $200 and won’t have you looking like an extra in a bad Saved By The Bell episode. As always, feel free to drop me a comment or a DM on Instagram…happy shopping! x -Preston
