Cozy For The Holidays

How To Rock A Cozy Athleisure Look For The Holidays

As much as the holiday season is all about dressing up for events and parties, it’s also about staying cozy while looking cool, chic, & holiday ready. One of the best ways to upgrade any athleisure look for the holiday season is to play with festive texture and pattern. I’m loving these Abercrombie classic joggers paired back to a classic denim shirt and beyond amazing chunky cardigan also from Abercrombie! Not only is this look cozy as ever while inside the house, but will keep you looking cool, relaxed, & festive while running errands, Christmas shopping, etc. Pair with a cool sneaker or boot to take the look outdoors and swap for your favorite slippers when back in the house.

Camo Puffer: Holiday Gifting Approved

Camo is back and it’s back in a big way. While a camo pant is always a trusty staple to have in your closet, it’s time to branch out and take the print further. I teamed up with G-Star to style some of my favorite pieces available at Bloomingdale’s for the Holidays (they have a super killer buy of G-Star right now), starring this crazy cool camo down jacket (did someone say PERFECT Christmas gift?!) When styling this bad boy, consider the camo print as a cool, dark, neutral. I paired back to this awesome stretch skinny jeans and embroidered sweatshirt (both from G-Star as well) to make the look cool and sporty, perfect for your Winter weekend warrior status. Happy gifting & styling ūüôā

Holiday Style: How To Wear Jeans For Thanksgivin...

How To Wear Jeans For Festive Thanksgiving Dinner Style

Dinners and parties with family, friends, colleagues…the Holiday season invites are endless and throughout the next two months I’ll be bringing you guys great Holiday styling options for your packed Holiday schedules. With the Thanksgiving holiday ‚Äčright around the corner (this week, AH!) , it’s time to nail your turkey day while staying comfortable and stylish at the same time. I usually save great trousers and patterned pants for Christmas and New Years parties, opting for a killer pair of jeans for Thanksgiving.
They key to making jeans work for your Thanksgiving look is not only to dress them up, but to make sure you’ve got a little stretch in them for that post-turkey coma comfort. I’ve partnered with 7 For All Mankind to style these Luxe Sport Authentic slim jeans from Nordstrom for Thanksgiving dinner. Not only are they INSANELY comfortable but they look awesome paired back to a chunky turtleneck sweater and wool, plaid blazer. (love this wash for dressing up and for everyday) Pair them with a dark, dressy chelsea boot to add a bit more polish and toss on a herringbone scarf to add another element of texture to the look. (Style tip: I frayed the bottom of the jeans for everyday styling, and love the rugged element of the fray in contrast with the slick chelsea boot)

Home Update: Feat. Gray Malin

Gray Malin photography

November is a perfect month for a bit of sprucing up around the house. Thanksgiving brings the friends, family & food. Before we know it, the holiday parties have kicked off and December is in full swing.¬†Prior to¬†¬†hanging the¬†the garland and stringing the Christmas lights, I like to have the “bones” of my apartment in tip top shape. Consider this a perfect time to give the staples an update…think classic throw pillows, rich candles, textured blankets & standout artwork.

I get tons of questions and comments about my “gallery wall” of prints and art in my living room. Made up of pieces of art I’ve collected across my travels, my gallery wall was in need of a standout piece…I knew just what I needed.

img_1195 Photographer Gray Malin (and old college friend) has captured some of the most festive and colorful scenes around the world, including my new obsession – the Hermes clad camel at The Parker Palm Springs (now hanging in my living room!).

Palm Springs Gray Malin

Gray is¬†currently having a 30% off sitewide sale¬†so whether youre looking to upgrade your art vibes¬†before the hoards of holiday visitors, or do a little gift shopping…check out¬†his work here.¬†(ps: Gray has tons of small gifts and trinkets on the site as well…perfect for holiday gifting)

Preston Konrad Design IdeasMy friends always give me shit for this, but my obsession with fake green apples is a bit out of control. I love the way these look in a crisp clear glass bowl mixed with crisp, white tabletop accessories & lamps. Shop them below:

Interior Design Tips By Preston KonradThrow pillows don’t have to be the same color, or the same two colors for that matter. Try mixing it up a bit with classic yet playful pillows that go with your overall color scheme. Shop them below:
